John Lai is Chairman, CEO, and President of Mister Car Wash. Before being named CEO in 2013, John was the company’s Chief Operating Officer and began his career at Mister in 2002 as Vice President of Market Development. Prior to joining Mister Car Wash, John was Vice President of Sales for Financenter, President of Blue Coral Systems, Direct Account Manager for Nestle S.A., and District Manager for Carnation Company.

John currently serves as a Director for the Southern Arizona Leadership Council, an Executive in Residence for the Eller College of Management, an Advisor to the FORGE Strategic Advisory Council, and serves as an advisor to the Friends of Arizona Lacrosse program. Previously John served on the boards of the International Car Wash Association and the Western Car Wash Association and is a past member of Desert Angels. John earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona in 1987.

Mayra began her career with the company in 2007 as the Regional Trainer for the El Paso market. In this position, she developed best practices for training store level team members on standard procedures and best in class customer service. In 2010, she joined our HQ team in Tucson to continue her training efforts as Director of Training and Development. Her in-depth knowledge of day to-day operations and ability to strategically execute standardization have been key to the successful growth of the organization.

Jed has served as our Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer since July 2019. Prior to joining Mister Car Wash, he served as Senior Director Finance, Assistant Treasurer at Yum Brands, Inc. from May 2016 to July 2019, and as Chief Financial Officer at the KFC Corporation from October 2014 to May 2016.

Jill joined the Mister Car Wash Team in 2020 bringing 19 years of experience in marketing and communications having worked with top brands in the restaurant industry. She now oversees Mister Car Wash’s marketing efforts including marketing communications, marketing technology, and the brand’s subscription-based membership program. Prior to joining Mister Car Wash, Jill served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at QDOBA Mexican Eats and led their creative, media, loyalty, product development, and CRM efforts. The focus of her work was leveraging both marketing and technology to develop the appropriate strategy and subsequent initiatives to create a relevant brand experience. Before joining QDOBA Mexican Eats, Jill worked at Jack in the Box, Inc. holding various leadership roles in field, product, and integrated marketing, as well as menu strategy, innovation, and growth. Prior to her work in the restaurant industry, she held various marketing roles in the financial sector. Jill received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing Management from the University of Kentucky and graduated at the top of her class with an MBA from California State University, Sacramento.

Lauren is responsible for setting a strategic direction that leverages information technology to achieve business goals. A results-driven leader, her team implements and maintains the IT needs of all the stores and corporate staff.

Ryan’s drive and passion for innovation in the industry have become an integral part of the success of our new build strategy and growth. He oversees all aspects of greenfield development, including project management and execution, developing standardized guidelines and processes, and managing architect, engineer, and contractor partners across a national network.

Lisa has served as our Secretary and General Counsel since August 2015. With over 30 years of legal experience, she provides legal and strategic advice to the board of directors and management on business transactions, financing, litigation, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Casey oversees all aspects of our acquisition strategies throughout the country. His team is constantly searching for new opportunities to grow Mister Car Wash. His knowledge and experience with successful acquisitions span both nationally and internationally.

Joe is Senior Vice President, Operations for Mister Car Wash. He began his career with the company in 1998, although his experience in the car wash industry started in 1993. In his 24 years in the car wash industry, Joe has moved up through the ranks to reach his current position from crew member to General Manager, Regional Manager, and Division Manager. In his current position, Joe oversees our operations leadership team and helps guide them in standardizing and optimizing our daily operations. He is also an integral part of our acquisition process in the onboarding and mentoring new leadership teams. Joe is passionate about the business and is dedicated to maintaining high standards through our accelerated growth.

Sarah works to elevate the Mister Car Wash brand experience in newly acquired markets through integration process planning and implementation. From due diligence through business plan development and execution, she focuses on creating a seamless transition into the Mister Car Wash portfolio for newly acquired locations.

James oversees Mister’s new build strategy throughout the country. Along with his team, he is continuously looking for new opportunities to acquire and develop new build locations through real estate acquisition.

Tim works directly with our Director of Operations, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet the current and future needs of the organization.

Anna and her team work to elevate the employee experience through benefits, employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance using innovative programs that enhance their wellbeing in and outside work.
